Adrian Pasdar Biography:
Born on April 30, 1965 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Adrian Pasdar studied at the University of Florida on a football scholarship. Unfortunately, during his first year at the university, he suffered terrible injuries on his face and legs when he got caught in a car accident. He had to continue his studies on a wheelchair, and because his condition left him unable to play football, he quit school and went back to his hometown. Upon his homecoming, Pasdar started working at the People’s Light and Theater Company, where he was in charge of the sound, lighting and set construction. When a work-related accident befell Pasdar, he used the money he received from the company to pay for his acting lessons at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute at Los Angeles. From there, he went on to appear in several films, including Top Gun, Solarbabies, Streets of Gold, Near Dark, Vital Signs and Carlito’s Way. His television credits include Profit, Mysterious Ways, Judging Amy and Desperate Housewives. Currently, he is appearing on the NBC hit television series, Heroes.
Nathan Petrelli is played by Adrian Pasdar in the series, Heroes. Nathan is busy going after his political aspirations in New York City. He is a district attorney whose wife, Heidi, suffers from a horrible spinal injury. He immerses himself in his campaign in the hopes of not only becoming a Congressman, but also burying a secret that his younger brother, Peter, is so keen on exposing. The secret is that Nathan is one of the few special people who have discovered they have extraordinary abilities. Nathan, with any explanation still unknown, has developed the power of human flight.
